Best Desk Mat For Most People

Is that coffee ring glaring at you for not using a coaster? Did you accidentally bump your mouse, only to find it accelerate at an uncanny speed and disappear to 1985? Then it sounds like you may need a desk mat.

Ok, so there’s a billion of these things out there, don’t waste your time. I think I’ve bought maybe four or five at this point and narrowed it down to the one that I like the most. Check out this Nordic Leather Desk Mat… here’s a picture or two. Yes, I use this every day in my office.

As you can see – the low profile is pretty sweet, so you won’t have to worry about an obnoxious bump or ledge. Also, you will notice that I am not using a mouse pad. This is because the Nordic Leather Desk mat is highly durable and I’ve and it over 6 months, with daily usage and it looks brand new. I do use a mild leather cleaner to keep it looking pristine though, plus it smells pretty good.

Now – this is not a full desk mat – it is designed to hold a laptop/mouse, keyboard, etc… you will not be covering your entire desk. I’m running a 60″ x 30″ so you can maybe see in the picture a little bit of real estate before and after the mat, I have it sitting maybe 2-3 inches from the front edge of my seating position.

One thing I really like about this product is that is is waterproof, no longer do I have to worry about coffee ring spots on my desk. Plus, it cleans up easy, this is a no brainer. If you are looking for that leather cleaner, I will link that below as well. Check it out.

If you’re interested, I’ll do a write up and review of some of my leather products, and show a few before/after examples of how Chamberlain’s works (hint: it’s awesome). Let me know in the comments or something.
